Delete your MYXD TAPE account

Option 1 — In the MYXD TAPE app

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately.

1. Open the MYXD TAPE app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile.
3. Scroll to Delete account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account is deleted straight away. You are signed out on every device, and any active membership is cancelled at once — no further charges are made.

Option 2 — By email

Use this if you no longer have the app installed.

1. Email maestro@mixedtaperadio.com from the address on your account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
3. We may reply once to confirm the request came from you.
4. We complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following from our systems:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your email address, name, and profile details
• Your membership status and history
• Your purchase records held in our database
• Your playlists, liked tracks, and saved stations
• Your playback history, including the IP addresses recorded with it
• Your push-notification token, if you enabled drop alerts
• Your entry on our email list

Any active membership is cancelled immediately rather than at the end of the billing period. Deletion is permanent — we cannot restore an account or its library afterwards, and buying a membership again does not bring it back.

What is kept, and for how long

Payment and tax records — 3 years. Records of payments you made are retained by our payment processor, Stripe, and by us for tax and accounting purposes for three years after your account is deleted. They are not used to contact you and cannot be used to restore your account.

Backups — up to 90 days. Our database is backed up weekly. Deleted data can remain inside a backup copy for up to 90 days, after which that backup is deleted. Backups are used only for disaster recovery.

Server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, device and browser type) are retained by our hosting provider, Vercel, for one hour, and are used only for security and debugging. We do not copy them into our own database, and they are not linked back to your deleted account.
